What is a 100youthcr?
A team of students who wish to empower their community by donating $10 and 10 hours of service to local non profit organizations within Cedar Rapids, Marion and Hiawatha.
When do we meet?
Quarterly, (4x a year) Members will be informed of each meeting at least 2 weeks prior.
Where do we meet?
The Location will be determined at least two weeks prior to the meeting, current members will be notified of the location, date, and time of the next meeting.
Who can become a member of 100youthcr?
Students from 8 to 18 years of age.
Who can we volunteer with?
Nonprofits in Cedar Rapids, Marion, and Hiawatha.
When are the 10 hours of service due?
At the next (quarterly) meeting.
What if I fail to volunteer 10 hours, can I still come?
Yes, however, for every hour you don't complete, you must donate an extra dollar.
How do I prove I volunteered 10 hours?
You will be expected to log your volunteer hours on our official “Log Blog.” 100youthcr will also check in with nonprofit organizations participating to check students progress.
